Since Microsoft keeps closing all the servers, it is getting harder and harder to
play Mechwarrior 4.
The boy thought since he was into "World of Warcraft" that I should be
So he got me a copy and paid for two months on line playing.
That was the one thing I didn't care for was that you pay to play.
Well if it keeps it going and not end up like Mechwarrior then I
guess its ok.
Now I'm hooked.  Only a few weeks and I am in it.
All my characters are in the 'Greymane Realm'.

Well it did end up like Mechwarrior.
As of today, 10/14/09, I no longer will be playing WOW. They, Blizzard, like MS, decide
to make changes in their account system.  After making all the changes for
their "Conversion" from Blizzard to Battle.net I found that I was no longer able
to gain access to anything.  Couldn't play the game, that they just billed me for,
nor get into my account on line.  After two phones, waiting over 30 mins on hold each,
found out that it is my Web Browser that is not allowing me to click on the word 'Accept'
at the end of the Privacy Policy Statment, so they say.  In order to have it taken
cared of I needed to make a long distance phone call their Tech Support to fix it.
If they had left it alone I would not have been having problems, would still be playing.
As with Micro Soft games and support I am giving the same Advertisement for
Blizzard, IT SUCKS!

I use to be pretty involved in the board game Battletech^TM where here is a custom made mini called 'The Marauder Titan'.  A nasty 100 ton Clan Mech that would play havoc upon all who challenged it, but then again that was mostly because of the roll of the dice. LOL   Ran scenerios for gaming expos and at home for fellow Mechwarriors.

Then came the computer games...

There was Mechwarrior 2 and 3.  Assorted role playing games like Diablo^TM and strategy War Craft^TM then the computer got bigger and faster.  Flight control system from Saitek and then there was Klingon Academy.

Presently the games I am involved in now are Mechwarrior 4 Vengeance^TM, Mercs, Black Knights^TM (Also have the two expansion packs InnerSphereŠ and ClanŠ Mechs), UnrealŽ Tournament 2004, Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth and AD&D Neverwinter Nights^TM.

In MW4 I play on-line often and belong to a clan called the 'White Pine Pizza Clan'  http://www.freewebs.com/whitepinepizzaclan/ and my pilot's name is Big Mad Tex (Why am I so mad? Because I was dropped on my head as an infant by my lousy Free Born parents! Muwahaha!!)

I use to use the Saitek^TM X45 now the X52 Flight Control System (Pic Below) fastened to a swivel chair that was used as a prop for a company party.  It is the Captains chair from Star Trek TOS.
