Various SciFi models I built from movies, TV, novels etc.

Thomas Modelsİ 1/357th scale, resin one piece scene titled Jupiter 2 Crash Site. Notice the quarter to give it some scale? Took two nights to do, made a mold of RTV to cast a clear dome of epoxy on top.

From 'War of the Worlds' the Martian War Machine. A Wilco Modelsİ kit in 1/72nd scale made of urethane resin. This thing has a span of 9 1/2 inches.
Scratch built a base to make a diorama of the scene from the movie. I captured a shot from the movie where they are coming out of the pit ready to do battle with the Earthlings that I used for the backdrop. It is proped up on three clear Lucite rods representing the magnetic legs the machines walked on. Scattered about are burnt bushes, trees on ash gray ground.
From the movie 'Armegeddon' the Shuttle "Independence"
A PMC (Plastic Model Coversion) NAR competition entry. The bay was to pop off and fall by streamer bringingout a parafoil to float down in level, circulat flight. The second shot is the display plugs have been pulled to show the three motor mounts for the small A sized motors.

From Real Space Models their 144th scale Apollo Coversion kit.
The decal is from an old Monogram kit that I will switch out with
Space Modelers Systems set, higher details and to scale US and flag.
Yankee Modelworks 1:350th Scale USN Houston, Los Angeles Class Nuclear Attack Sub.
Resin, white metal and Photoetched parts.
My first attempt in putting together a vacuformed kit of a Horten Go 229 in 1/72nd scale from Airmodels. Alot of scratch parts were put in because most of the kit was missing. There is stainless tubing for the machine gun barrels, an F-16 canopy from my spare parts box and styrene rods and tubes for the engines. Didn' know there was suppose to be a cone in the intakes so installed micro brass screening instead. Next one will be done right, found a book with alot of pictures and diagrams. Paint job is free-hand from an airbrush. The crosses were stenciled then airbrushed, they are not decals!

Tamiya'sİ 1/48th scale V1 Buzz Bomb. The paint job is free-hand from an airbrush.
